Trent Thorbahn is the Chief Operating Officer for The Invictus Collective.  Trent has nearly 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a diverse background in business development, client services, and operations.  He was awarded the CERTIFIED INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT ANALYST (CIMA®) designation from the University of Chicago Booth Executive Education program, and a BBA from Kent State University.  His responsibilities include optimizing operational efficiency and implementing growth initiatives.
 
Prior to joining The Invictus Collective, Trent was the Managing Director of Operations and Client Services at Zacks Investment Management, and part of the firm’s leadership team.  His extensive experience across multiple business channels equips him with a unique background as it includes advising private clients, managing advisory teams, overseeing business operations, and enhancing the firm’s offering.  He previously was an integral part of starting a family business that has served his family’s local community for over 25 years. 
 
Trent is an active community member and enjoys woodworking, gardening, and general outdoor activities.  He lives in Chicago, Illinois, with his wife, Caitlin, and their two daughters.
